Privacy Policy

AstroLens calculates your chart on your own device. The only thing that ever leaves your phone is an anonymous summary of that chart, and only at the moment you ask for a written reading. There is no account, no advertising and no third-party analytics.

1. What stays on your device

AstroLens stores the following in the app's private storage on your device:

• the birth profile you enter — name, birth date, birth time, birth place, coordinates and time zone;
• the natal chart calculated from that profile;
• readings you have generated, so they can be read offline;
• your notification preference and delivery time.

The chart mathematics run entirely on your device. We never receive, and never store, your birth profile.

2. What leaves your device, and when

When you request a full written reading, the app sends one anonymous payload to our server so that a language model can write the text. That payload contains only:

• a payload version number and your app language;
• the house system used;
• each planet's sign, degree within that sign, house and retrograde flag;
• the list of aspects (which two planets, aspect type, orb).

It does not contain your name, birth date, exact birth time, coordinates, time zone, device identifier, advertising identifier, or any account identifier. The payload describes a chart, not a person, and we hold no identifier that could connect it back to you.

3. Who processes it

Our server at adelieyun.com forwards the payload to DeepSeek, which generates the reading text and returns it. Our server keeps request logs containing only the language, the number of sections returned, the duration and an error class. The payload itself is not written to disk or to the logs.

Your reading is then cached on your device. If the network is unavailable, the app falls back to an on-device reading and nothing is transmitted.

4. What we never do

• No advertising, and no advertising identifier.
• No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
• No tracking of you across other apps or websites.
• No selling or renting of personal data.
• No account, email address or phone number required to use the app.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are sold by Apple and processed by Apple. We never see your name, card number or billing address. The app asks Apple only whether a purchase is currently active, and that answer is tied to your Apple ID rather than to any identifier we hold.

6. Notifications

Daily reminders are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. Their content is generated on your device; no notification content is sent to our servers.

7. Retention and deletion

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to delete. Everything you have entered lives on your device and can be removed at any time:

• open Me → Your data → Delete all data to clear the birth profile, chart, cached readings and reminder settings; or
• delete the app, which removes its private storage.

Deleting your data does not cancel or remove an App Store purchase.

8. Children

AstroLens is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The app collects no personal information at all.

9. International transfers

The anonymous chart payload may be processed on servers located outside your country, including by our model provider. Because the payload contains no personal identifiers, it cannot be used to identify you in any jurisdiction.

10. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. We hold no personal data that identifies you, so a request would return nothing; the in-app controls above are how you exercise deletion. If you believe we hold something about you, contact us and we will respond.

11. Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
