Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the AstroLens iOS app and any subscription or lifetime unlock you buy through it.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using AstroLens you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The agreement is between you and Guangzhou Adelie Network Technology Co., Ltd., not Apple.

2. What AstroLens is

AstroLens is an astrology app for reflection and entertainment. It calculates charts from the birth details you enter and writes interpretive text. Interpretations are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or simply not applicable to you.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use AstroLens on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

Where the App Store's standard end user licence agreement applies, it does so in addition to these terms. Our terms govern the subscription relationship; Apple's standard EULA governs the licensed application itself.

4. Free and Pro

AstroLens is usable without paying. The free tier includes:

• the complete daily horoscope;
• your natal chart wheel and planet positions.

AstroLens Pro adds:

• the complete four-part natal reading;
• weekly and monthly forecasts;
• timing windows worth planning around;
• multiple birth profiles.

We may adjust which features are free or paid in future versions. Any change will not remove access you have already paid for during a paid period.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends.
• The 7-day free trial on the yearly plan converts into a paid yearly subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. A free trial is available once per subscription group.
• If you buy lifetime access, it does not expire and is not a subscription.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Prices shown in the app come from the App Store and may differ outside the United States because of local pricing and tax. The price you see at purchase is the price that applies.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• If you reinstall or change device, use Restore Purchases on the paywall to bring back an active purchase.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use the app to break the law or to harm others.
• Do not attempt to overload, probe or bypass our interpretation service.
• Do not use automated means to generate readings at scale.

We may suspend access to the interpretation service if it is abused.

7. Availability and changes

Chart calculation and daily horoscopes work offline. Written readings require a network connection and depend on a third-party language model; that part may be unavailable, slow or rate-limited. We may change, add or remove features, and we may discontinue the app, in which case paid subscriptions should be cancelled through your Apple ID.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. Astrology has no scientific basis; readings are not factual claims about you or your future.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or affects your statutory consumer rights.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence still applies to you.
